Game Development

I have great passion for games, and it is my life’s goal to continue making them.

For the past two years, I’ve been working at a startup that I help started, with three other colleagues, called Tamatin Entertainment. I was approached straight out from graduating from university, as a 2D artist, and I handled a broad range of 2D art, including character art, background art, UI items, and various other 2D items. In that two years, I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects, including releasing our own games.

Since it was a small studio, the experience I had extends beyond just working as a 2D artist. On the technical side, I have hands-on experience working in Unity Engine, as well as learning and using multiple in-house tools, such as level editors, specific texture mapping, and various other quirky and fun software. On the creative side, I have experience creating storyline concepts, in-game dialogue, concept art, and dabbled in art direction, which then turns into gameplay ideas.
